Ronald H.  Wecht

Ron is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the University of California Hastings College of the Law.  After completing his studies at Annapolis, he accepted a commission in the United States Marine Corps and served on active duty for seven years.  He served in the infantry in Vietnam, and later became a pilot flying single seat jet attack aircraft.

In law school Mr.  Wecht was appointed to the Hastings Law Journal and upon graduation was granted membership in the Order of the Coif, a national honor society for law school graduates who rank in the top 10% of their graduating class.

Mr.  Wecht's aviation background has allowed him to successfully prosecute burn injury cases due to aviation accidents.  He also has extensive experience handling burn cases resulting from fuel fed fires in automobile crashes.  He is a member of many prestigious professional organizations, including the American Board of Trial Advocates, The San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (where he served on the Board of Directors for five years), The Lawyer-Pilot's Bar Association, and the Robert G.  McGrath Inn of Court, spending two years on the Executive Board.
