Michon Herrin

Ms.  Herrin obtained her undergraduate education at the University of Southern California, graduating with honors in 1997.  She then attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was an editor for the Santa Clara Computer and High Technology Law Journal and a participant and advisor for the Jessup International Moot Court team.  After finishing externships in Vietnam and Singapore, she graduated from Santa Clara with an emphasis in International Law.

Following law school, Ms.  Herrin was admitted to practice in the state of Nevada and served as law clerk for the Honorable Connie J.  Steinheimer of the Second Judicial District Court, State of Nevada.  During her tenure, she worked on a wide variety of matters, including capital criminal cases and complex civil litigation.

Upon her admittance to the California Bar, Ms.  Herrin returned to the Bay Area to join Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger.  She represents clients in Federal District Courts and State Courts throughout Nevada and California.  She is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association, and the McFetridge Inn of Court, where she has served as a program chair.

Ms.  Herrin recently achieved a successful confidential settlement for a veteran and patient who sustained severe burn injuries to his feet and hands when he was left for too long by medical practitioners under an experimental ultraviolet light chamber used to treat skin maladies.  Ms.  Herrin is proud to work for clients in such chemical burn and product liability cases against government entities.
